Making a Joyful Noise – the more the merrier

A new choir has been born. It is a mixed choir meeting in the Juanita Nielsen Community Centre, Woolloomooloo on Wednesdays (see image attached). It is an enjoyable way to meet new friends and appreciate music. The repertoire is chosen by the group with Ben as Co-ordinator. It is a combined effort of St Vincent’s, the Hope Street Baptist Church and the City of Sydney Council.
Although they are new group and have only met twice previously “the response has been excellent” says Ben. Being a new group means there is plenty of room for more choristers. So there is no need to sing in the shower solo again.
After all, the ancient Greek mathematician, Pythagoras, who invented the twelve- note scale, said the whole is greater than the sum of its parts.
