Jason Minty, founder and Proprietor of Becker Minty is in heaven. He lives and breathes the art of the exquisite, rare and adorable objet d’art.
His peripatetic lifestyle takes him all over the globe in search of beautiful things for customers who think they might already have everything but could do with something more if it presented to them.
How about a designer garden hose with polished brass fittings to add to the balcony or gardenette?
Becker MInty provides unexpected and previously unknown products, all hand-picked, and avidly supports local artists. For example; Kelly Waerstler (USA) lighting, R & Y Agusti, Kuifo Paris, Arguiste Parfeumeur, James King and Robert Delves. The shop specialises in home styling, lifestyle items, jewellery, fashion and art.

“The shop is a jewel box of delights and attracts many loyal customers,” says Carmen Leung, General Manager.
“We provide for the unexpected including rare vintage nostalgia items,” says Jason proudly. This even includes melt-in-the-mouth toffee fudge and his own German omi’s (grandma’s) home-made relish, complete with an etching of a younger Jason sporting German lederhosen (traditional German leather shorts and braces) on the label.

The shop has recently undergone renovations and is a pot pourri of pleasure for customers’ retail grazing pleasure.
