Pets Point – a dog’s delight
Cats and dogs are now part of our everyday lives. Owning a pet is a serious responsibility. It may not be as big an investment as having children, but it is a serious commitment over several years and you want to ensure they are happy, healthy and well taken care of.
Madison Tier, owner of Pets Point, opened her shop two and a half years ago in Elizabeth Bay. Madi had been in the pet supply Industry for over decade and had always wanted to open her own shop. providing healthy pet products, source locally wherever possible and working with like-minded suppliers who genuinely have the animal’s best interest it heart.
Unsurprisingly, she has recently been nominated as a finalist in the local business awards.
Madi doesn’t just wear her heart on her sleeve; she has her own pet’s image tattooed on her ankle.
Dogs are loving and loyal companions but can sometimes be fussy eaters or have a food intolerance. Some foods are dangerous for our pets and can make your loved pet very sick. It’s important to know what you are feeding your dogs and cats to keep them healthy throughout their lives. This is area that Madi knows well and she enjoys helping her customers finding the right diet for their beloved pet.
Madi and her special shop have become an integral part of our pet loving community. Pets and their owners appreciate the genuine care and attention she provides, not to mention the many hugs and healthy treats! Pets Point is really a specialist boutique. In a relatively small space, Madi has managed to curate a wonderful range of products from exclusive Italian leather walk-wear to high tech, in store dog tag engraving. She offers a wide range of adorable toys, dog gelato, health and grooming products, colognes for dogs and their owners as well as matching coats and jewellery. You will also find winter wear including polo neck and cashmere-style jumpers and puffer coats.
For owners wishing to immortalise their pets, they can commission a small hand-made, life-like pottery sculpture of their precious pet.
Pets Point also offers a grooming service, owned and operated by Katie, called Tails of the Bay, in a well-appointed grooming salon in the back of the shop.
Madi has built a network of local connections who provide pet services which she recommends to her customers.
There is always something new to discover at Pets Point.
She welcomes visitors who call in to meet her or one of her team and get a treat – your dog, who will love you even more.
